Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Undivided Media Inc (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with our mobile applications (each, an “App,” and together, the “Apps”), including but not limited to our expense and budget management apps and other utilities we publish on Google Play. By downloading or using any of our Apps, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

If you do not agree with this policy, please discontinue use of the Apps.

1. Who We Are

The Apps are developed and operated by:

Undivided Media Inc 310 Brookside Rd Richmond Hill, ON L4C 0K8, Canada Email: Zia@ooober.com Website: https://undividedmedia.ca

2. Information We Collect

The exact information involved depends on which App you use and which features you choose to use.

Information you create and enter. Most of our Apps let you enter and store content yourself — for example, expense and income entries, amounts, dates, categories, notes, account or book names, currencies, and similar records. This content is primarily stored locally on your device. We do not require you to give us this content, and we do not access it unless you explicitly use a feature that needs it (such as backup, sync, or sharing).

Account information (only if you create an account). Some Apps offer optional features — such as syncing across devices or sharing data with family, friends, or colleagues — that require an account. If you use these features, we may collect your name, email address, and authentication details. Many of our Apps work fully without an account.

Information collected automatically. When you use an App, we and our service providers may automatically collect limited technical information, such as device type and model, operating system version, app version, language and region settings, crash reports, and basic usage and diagnostic data. This helps us keep the Apps stable and improve them.

Advertising identifiers. Some of our Apps display ads. Our advertising partners may collect a device advertising identifier and similar technical data to serve and measure ads. See Section 5 for details.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (such as government IDs, precise financial account numbers, health data, or biometric data), and you should not enter such information into the Apps.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Provide and operate the Apps and their features;
  • Save, back up, sync, or share your data when you ask us to;
  • Maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, and troubleshoot problems;
  • Analyze performance, fix bugs, and improve our products;
  • Display advertising in ad-supported Apps; and
  • Comply with legal obligations and respond to your requests.

4. How Your Data Is Stored

For most features, the content you enter stays on your device. If you use an optional cloud, backup, sync, or sharing feature, the relevant data is transmitted to and stored on secure servers operated by us or our service providers so the feature can work as intended.

Data transmitted between your device and our servers (or our partners’ servers) is encrypted in transit using industry-standard protocols.

5. Advertising and Third-Party Services

Some Apps are ad-supported. To provide ads, analytics, and core functionality, we rely on trusted third-party services, which may include:

  • Google AdMob (advertising)
  • Google Play Services (app distribution and core platform services)
  • Firebase / Google Analytics for Firebase (analytics and crash reporting), where used

These providers may collect and process device identifiers, advertising IDs, and usage data under their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them:

You can limit ad personalization at any time through your device settings (for example, “Reset advertising ID” or “Opt out of Ads Personalization” in Android settings).

We do not sell your personal information.

6. Sharing of Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share information only in these limited situations:

  • With service providers who help us operate the Apps (such as hosting, analytics, crash reporting, and advertising), under agreements that limit their use of the data.
  • With people you choose, if you use a sharing or collaboration feature — in which case the data you share becomes visible to the people you invite.
  • For legal reasons, if required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, the public, or our company.
  • In a business transfer, such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will continue to protect your information consistent with this policy.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

We keep information only as long as needed to provide the Apps and for legitimate business or legal purposes. Content stored locally on your device remains until you delete it or uninstall the App.

You can request that data associated with you be deleted. To make a request, email Zia@ooober.com. We will respond within a reasonable time and in accordance with applicable law.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information, including the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at Zia@ooober.com.

Residents of Canada are protected under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). Residents of the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom have rights under the GDPR / UK GDPR. Residents of California have rights under the CCPA/CPRA. We honor these rights as applicable to you.

9. Children’s Privacy

Our Apps are not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

10. International Data Transfers

We are based in Canada, and our service providers may process data in Canada, the United States, and other countries. By using the Apps, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries that may have different data-protection laws than your own. We take steps to ensure your information remains protected consistent with this policy.

11. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit, to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Apps after changes take effect means you accept the revised policy.
